About us
This website is owned,
maintained, and published by Emiliano "Emo" Acuna. I am active duty
military and have been proudly serving since 1995. I am a highly
trained Electronics Technician by trade. My first computer was a TI-99
4/A and was given to me by my grandparents when I was about ten or so.
My next computer was a TRS-80. The best thing I remember about the
Trash-80 was the Helicopter gunship program. Man that was fun.
So
enough jabber jawing. Why this site? My wife Cassandra and I decided
that she should be a stay at home mom when she was pregnant with our
son. Since my schedule is sometimes predictable and some times not, it
made sense that I would be the bread winner for the family. Since we
have a house full of children, I would sometimes have to pick up side
work, or even a second job. We were talking, and I told her, "There has
to be a way I can make money over using the internet, with out having
to start a major undertaking that would be disrupted in the event I
have to deploy." And this site is it, well the beginning of it. LOL.
I
have a very strong work ethic and believe in leaving a job site or
project better than I found it. When applied to the programs on this
site and services we offer, you can be assured that you will find value
in everything on this site. If at anypoint, you are unsure of how
something works, or even what to do next, just drop me a line and I
will personally respond at my earliest convenience.
Partnerships
We
believe that
creating partnerships with other like minded people,
businesses, and programs can foster synergies that are advantageous to
all parties involved. For instance, a
partnership could be as simple as
purchasing ad space here, creating a link exchange, advertising in lieu
of payment for services, links provided in a blog. There are
as
many
different ways to create partnerships as there are websites. If
you have something specific in mind,
drop us a line and let us know
what you think may be advantageous to both of us and why.
Partner opportunities
Link Swaps
Link swaps
are the easiest and
oldest partnership on the internet. The basic idea is that
you
show a banner or link on your website and your partner site does the
same for you. This generates ad impressions for free. They key is to
pick your partner wisely. Placement ofyour ad on their front page might
generate the most amount of impressions, but might not genereate a good
click through rate. Read More…
paid advertising
Paid
advertising can come in
different forms. In its simplest form, a merchant pays a set fee for
abanner ad on a page. This fee guarantees that the banner will be
placed in a certain spot on the same page and will never be rotated out
or moved to another spot on the page. Read More…
exchange of services
Exchange of
services is pretty
straight forward. For example, I need some banner and logo work done.
Instead of paying someone to do this for me, I offer to put a banner up
linking to their site and give them fre SEO for three months. Read More…
